Session Dates:

 

The session begins the third week of June for 12 consecutive weeks.

 

Morning sessions are held Monday - Friday with your choice of attending the5:00 am to 6:00 am or 6:05 am th 7:05 am session.

 

One evening session is offered from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm Monday - Friday. One Saturday session will begin promptly at 8:00 am to 9:00 am.

 

Session will be limited to a maximum of 30 participants (a minimum of 15 participants is required)

Beginning in June 2005 Physical Fitness Consultants will offer our Boom-Fit Training Camp for gents 40 years of age and older.

No matter what your current fitness level or ability, our Boom-Fit Training Camp is designed to safely and effectively transform your body, mind and spirit through guided outdoor exercise of locations in the Farmington Valley.

The Boom-Fit Training modalities include but are .

not limited to :

- resistive training

- plyometrics

- calisthenics

- anaerobic threshold

- aerobic capacity flexibilty  and other techniques appropriate to the sessions participants.

 All sessions are held out doors, rain or shine. The Boom-Fit Training Camp is goal specific and will focus on personal accountability in maintaining an active and healthful lifestyle. Participants must participate in a minimum of three sessions per week to remain in the program
In addition, weekly group weigh-ins, girth measurement and body fat testing will be an on going element of the program. Participants will be expected to discontinue alcohol and caffeine consumption for the first four weeks of the program and are encouraged to follow the same regimen for the length of the camp. Boom-Fit participants will also be given specific dietary requirements to follow for the duration of the program. Each participant will be assigned a training partner or may enroll in the camp with a training partner and each will receive a ten percent discount uopn signup. Participant must complete a comprehensive physical examination by their attending physician which will include a graded exercise test and complete blood chemistry analysis as well as other tests deemed appropriate by the physician. A physicians consent form for inclusion into the program must accompany the participants Boom-Fit Training Camp enrollment application.
